Judicial Candidates in the 2019 Election Cycle

On Tuesday, May 21st, Philadelphia Primary Election voters will be asked to choose 6 candidates to serve on the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, and one to serve on the Philadelphia Municipal Court. Listed below are candidates that have made it known they are running for those positions, or are rumored to be running. If their candidacy is known, their status is marked "active." If their candidacy is speculated, their status is marked "rumored." Candidates will be officially considered running once they file nomination petitions due on Tuesday, March 12th. At that time, all official candidates will be marked with the status of "filed" and the rest will be removed.
